The Grid Society

Terms of Use

End User License Agreement · Effective September 21, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and The Grid Society App Inc. (“The Grid Society,” “we,” “us”) and act as the end user license agreement (EULA) for The Grid Society mobile app, website, and related services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, requesting access, signing in, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and Membership

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. The Grid Society is an invite-only community currently in a United States pilot. Access is granted at our discretion, and we may decline, suspend, or revoke membership at any time.

2. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the app under Settings > Profile > Delete Account, which permanently removes your account and content.

3. Community Content and Conduct — Zero Tolerance

Parts of the Services let members contribute content, such as creator storefronts, garage photos, and profile information (“Member Content”). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, share, or engage in:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech of any kind
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or graphically violent material
  • Content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or promotes illegal activity
  • Spam, scams, misleading claims, or unauthorized commercial solicitation
  • Impersonation of any person, brand, or organization
  • Content that infringes another party’s intellectual property or privacy rights

Violations result in removal of the content and suspension or permanent termination of the offending account, without notice or refund of any kind.

4. Moderation, Reporting, and Blocking

We actively moderate Member Content. Every member can flag objectionable content using the “Report” action on creator storefronts and can block a creator so their content no longer appears. Our team reviews reports promptly — normally within 24 hours — and removes content that violates these Terms and ejects the user who provided it.

5. License to Your Content

You retain ownership of your Member Content. You grant The Grid Society a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it solely to operate and promote the Services. You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit.

6. Deals, Brands, and Third-Party Sites

Member deals, storefront links, and “Shop” buttons open partner brand websites. All purchases occur on the brand’s own site under its terms; The Grid Society processes no payments and is not a party to those transactions. Deal availability, pricing, and redemption terms are set by the partner brand and may change or end at any time.

7. Giveaways

Giveaways are open to eligible members as described in each giveaway’s rules. No purchase is necessary. Giveaways are void where prohibited by law.

8. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you downloaded it. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the Services except as permitted by law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the name, logo, design, and all content we provide, are owned by The Grid Society or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Grid Society is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms, including under our zero-tolerance policy in Section 3.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email, and continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
